Dear friends and family,
On Monday May 26th , Rob — our friend, a devoted husband, an incredible father, and the rock of his family — suffered a medical emergency that caused a stroke that left him in a coma. He is now in the ICU in New Hampshire, fighting for his life while his loved ones hold on to hope and surround him with prayers. Currently he isn’t stable enough to be transferred to Boston so Gabby has been driving back and forth from their Attleboro home to New Hampshire to be with him.
Rob has always been the primary provider for his family — his wife, Gabby, and their two beautiful children, Evie and Luca. Their son 1.5 year old son Luca was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy- a birth injury caused by a lack of oxygen to the brain and Focal Cortical Dysplasia a genetic medication resistant epileptic disorder that has cause significant delays resulting in Gabby needing to be home and out of work.
Rob is a union worker and worked tirelessly to make sure they were taken care of, never asking for anything in return. Now, Gabby is facing the unimaginable — supporting their children emotionally while also navigating the crushing weight of medical expenses and everyday bills without Rob by her side.
We are asking for your help to lift some of that burden. Your donation will allow Gabby to focus on caring for Evie and Luca and staying present with Rob during this critical time. Funds will go directly toward:
• Household expenses (mortgage, groceries, utilities, transportation)
• Medical bills and future rehabilitation costs
• Childcare and support for Evie and Luca
• Emergency savings while Rob is unable to work
No one expects their world to turn upside down overnight, but that’s exactly what happened to this sweet family. Anything you can give — whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this campaign — means more than words can express.
